So, season three just happened. Well, hip-hip-happening. Check out all the stuff we've gathered from today (may or may not include gak).
BRIEF THOUGHTS ON THE EPISODE
Visually, these episodes were fantastic. So colorful and vibrant, easily the best we've seen in that department yet. I thought the story arch of Twilight and Spike was developed well looking back on it, even if the events outside of their trials had some pacing issues. I actually expected the crystal heart to be outside of the Empire, hidden in some arctic cave or something. And finally, I echo pretty much everyone else, that King Sombra was a disappointment. Though his threat was imminent and foreboding there wasn't much to him rather than grunts and moans. I'd give the eps a "good" 7.5/10.

And to quote someone that FPLOON quoted: "Congratulations, fellow bronies.We have managed to create a meme that got old faster than arrow to the knee." This is 100% accurate.

I know a lot of people are apprehensive to using Twitter because of how it functions, but some generally good stuff goes on around there with the MLP staff. I've been thinking of making this an actual post series during the day, but for now it'll be here to test the waters.

Looks like now DHX staff is getting upset. The Hub did spoil just over half of the first episode...
They really were fun episodes, albeit pacing and Sombra. It can only get better in my mind!

Did Shining Armor and Cadence improve as characters from the Canterlot Wedding? Decline? Some loved them, others hated them, so I'm interested to see where your thoughts lie after seeing them a second time in round two.
