It's another Sweetiebot Nightly Megathread, so you know there will plenty of crack pot theories and speculations in this post. Tonight's conspiracy will have to deal with Rarity. Go on past the break and put on your tinfoil hats.

Now on to the discussion.
In "Sisterhooves Social", we meet Rarity's parents for the first time, and they are shown to have nothing close to the accent Rarity uses. Let's assume that the accent she uses is considered a Canterlot accent. She was born and raised in Ponyville, and not only does no one else there have that accent, but she has no family in Canterlot if "Sweet and Elite" is anything to go by.
My guess is that a very young age, Rarity not only started idolizing fashion, but also famous fashion designers, most of which were from Canterlot. She noticed how they all had a fancy accent, and so she decided to start using one as well, thinking it was necessary in order make it in the fashion world. Eventually she started using it so much that she could now pull it off without even thinking about it, and use any emotion with it. Her family gave up on telling her to put on her normal voice and eventually got used to it.
TL;DR Rarity is nothing but a pile of secrets and lies wrapped under fabulousity.
Maybe one day we will deal with Rarity's uncouth side.
