Nightmare Nights Press Release

Nightmare Nights Dallas sent us a press release and as this con is of special interest to me, so I thought I'd do them a favor and post it. It's this November, and there are some pretty big names attached. Check past the break for the details.

Nightmare Nights Announces Foalpapers
Nightmare Nights, held in Dallas from November 8th through the 10th, is proud to announce a Community Guest! If you’re one of the pony folk active on Twitter, chances are you’ve heard of him: The British gent with the classicist bent, Foalpapers! Foaly will be presenting an abstract of his graduate thesis, which deals with Classical themes in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. If you’re embarrassed to tell your family and friends that you’re heading to a Pony Con for the weekend, you can always tell them you’re going to attend a symposium on Classical images and references in modern media!
Nightmare Nights Expands Vendor Space & Opens an Artist Alley
We’re very grateful so many talented artists of all stripes are so looking forward to selling their work to our attendees (and our guests, and each other). However, we were a bit taken aback when our Vendor Room sold out five months before the con. Still, everything’s bigger in Texas, so we just moved it to a larger room! That’s right: we now have an additional supply of vendor tables available for purchase, first-come, first-served. In addition, we’re announcing the opening of our Artist Alley! So, what’s the difference between the Vendor Room and the Artist Alley? We’re glad you asked! The Artist Alley is less expensive, allows tables to be rented by the day, and is open 24 hours a day. The catch is that you cannot erect displays or backdrops behind your table, and you must accept and work on commissions during the convention. Essentially, this gives artists space to work on their commissions until the wee hours, if they so choose. It also helps prevent the Vendor Room from becoming congested as attendees describe the precise color shading of their OCs.
So join us this November in Addison, Texas with the rest of our guests; Andrea Libman, Peter New, Brenda Crichlow, Sabrina Alberghetti, Jim Miller, James Wootton, Mitch Larson, Pixelkitties, and Sophie Cabra for a fantastic all-ages fan event! Check us out at www.NightmareNights.Net
