Pony + Unreal Engine = Awesome

If you at least occasionally touch video games, you should know the Unreal Engine. Pretty impressive and powerful thing. The guy who made the video above combined it with a pony.
And it looks very good. It might be just a first tech demo with a pony walking around... For now.
Of course he plans on further developing it.
Look at its current state and imagine where it might lead to. What would you like to see being done with it?

~renegadecow made another one of these incredible wooden automatons, as shown above.

The figures, stand, tree and bushel are carved out of Philippine mahogany while the gears and apples are made out of Narra hardwood. They're painted in enamel and protected by clear flat lacquer. Applejack stands at 5 1/8" tall (with her hat down) while the entire complete piece measures 11 3/4" high, 9 1/2" long, and 3 1/2" wide. It took 161 hours to complete.

More Bronies For Good Updates

Lots of excellent news from Bronies For Good just arrived in the inbox! The water sanitation project has been fully funded, a thank you card was recieved from the children aided by the project before that one, and there's lots else going on including a shorty award nomination, another YourSiblings campaign/project, and a charity album! Like usual, their message to us does an excellent job of explaining it all, so check that out after the break.

The Round Stable Reminds us all Why it's Awesome

Though awesome, the above would probably run into some legal issues.

In response to the end of MLP Online, The Round Stable has produced a very informative and well-articulated exploration of copyright laws which I highly recommend to anyone who produces fan content but has questions about where that content might fit in to today's legal jungle. Check it out here!

If I may highlight one point they make:

"WeLoveFine is an example of a successful collaboration between Hasbro and its fans with respect to exercising Hasbro’s copyrights."

I can't agree more with the above. If you ever wish to set up some business related to MLP:FiM. there's so much you can learn from Welovefine. I once envisioned a symbiotic relationship between Hasbro and the MLP:FiM fans, and subsequently WeLoveFine came around and proved that such a thing was possible. Armed with the knowledge provided by this article, I'm sure many of the rest of us will now be able to follow in their footsteps.

...Perhaps I should start pursuing a Q&A with some of the Welovefine staff again, in lieu of this...
