Equestria Girls Merch in Germany

This one has Sleep a little worked up so I'll toss it up myself. Germany is expected to receive Equestria Girls merch some time this summer. A incredible variety of toys including a doll, two dolls, a doll and her pony self and... something about Rainbow's hair? Guess we'll have to wait and see. Hmm... Boy do I wonder whether Hasbro considers the older Fanbase a marketable audience... Gee I wish there was some way to know for sure... *some sort of sarcasm*

Mysterious Pony unveiled

Well, not literally. But as you can see on the package, it has a name now. Sunset Shimmer.
Apparently she's indeed a unicorn and the sixth addition to the "Crystal Princess Celebration's Playful Pony set" that'll be released this fall.

Also, she's released together with the Mane6 minus Twilight. So, in a sense she's the new Twilight.

In other words, you can literally stylize the Fluttershy you've ever wanted... Now, to wait for the other ponies to have their own versions of these...

Build a Bear Pony Plushies

Remember the pony plushies Build a Bear announced some time ago? According to an employee, they will be in stock on April 1. So far, it seems like there will only be Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash plushies available, but they will come with (seperately sold) special outfits. What those will look like isn't known so far, though.

Toy Fair 2013 recap

Two of The Round Stable's reporters returned from this year's Toy Fair and wrote down a review of all the pony stuff that was shown there, complete with some background information, pictures and everything. There are also some things which we haven't seen so far, I guess. Like cardboard recolor standees.

Funrise Toys Possibly Not Real?

Over on DHN it was just recently reported that the Funrise plushies were not meant to be an announcement of future sales of plushies. Here's the relevant announcement on the Funrise Facebook page.

Also EqD Just posted this and I thought it might be nice to mention it somewhere. Swat's reaction: "Gak Pool!" My reaction: "What a marvelous non-newtonian fluid!"

Morning News

A bunch of news from DHN this morning! There's a tentative (and frankly impressive) Las Pegasus Unicon panel schedule here, and some updates about the NICI plushies to be appearing soon (the smaller ones seem more show-accurate IMO).

A while back, Alicorn Twilight in Funrise's office was one of the sparks for Alicorn Twilight speculation. With Hub's press release today, it looks as if she can finally be unvailed. Looks as if they're shooting for a Fall 2013 Release.

More Alicorn Twilight Popping Up

Alicorn Twilight, or as I like to call her: Twilicorn, has made an appearance in the Toy Fair's catalog! She comes in a new castle play set and seems to have been made in a completely new mold. The most obvious difference is the added wings, but her new model is slightly taller than the standard ones. She comes with a removable(?) big crown thingy and a dress. Does this confirm Twilicorn in the cartoon series? Only time will tell. Put your thoughts in the comments.
