Above is a recently made animation crossing over FiM with Starcraft. A fair amount of wit and skill was used in its production.

Also have a reminder to participate in this competition. Bronies are just barely in the lead. Let's keep it that way and make sure that Beleibers don't get the upper hand, lol.

Also you may have already seen this on EqD, but an animation (mostly sfw so far) was made by Tiarawhy recently. lol... funny top comments on Youtube.

And finally, as you may have heard an article in the New York Times randomly posted what seems to be official artwork for the Equestria Girls thing. The image can be found to the left side of the article or here. EqD got this one recently too, but it was submitted to us, so we might as well post it.

Bronydoc Aids Unicon

It looks like John De Lancie, Michael Brockhoff, and all the others involved in the Brony Documentary have stepped up to help in the wake of LPU, selling copies of the documentary autographed by Tara Strong and Lauren Faust to help cover LPU's expenses. Check out the update on their Kickstarter page for more info, or check after the break for Copypasta. We thank them for their involvement in that relief effort and wish them the best of luck.

Mysterious Pony unveiled

Well, not literally. But as you can see on the package, it has a name now. Sunset Shimmer.
Apparently she's indeed a unicorn and the sixth addition to the "Crystal Princess Celebration's Playful Pony set" that'll be released this fall.

Also, she's released together with the Mane6 minus Twilight. So, in a sense she's the new Twilight.

Also as was mentioned in the comments of the last Nightly Megathread, there seems to be a general consensus that the recent convention, Las Pegasus Unicon, didn't go too well... (check the NM comments for details) Thanks for details added by Zirconium_Pants and Jordan Olling A proposal has been Drafted by Andrew Brockert (well-known convention organizer) to make sure this doesn't happen again: many details, and some of the rumors, were compiled by some anons on /mlp/ here. If it unfortunately turns out that the organizers were con-artists, perhaps the information these anons has gathered will help the police find and arrest them. EFR posted an explanation here, and the comments here are painfully revealing. Sweetie Bot likened it to a crossover between The Hangover and Oceans Thirteen... I'd say that may be fairly accurate. LPU has their side of the story up on their website now. And here's a first-hand account of the events at the convention.

Condensed, ponies air on April 2nd, Japanese kids love Pinkie Pie while Twilight and Celestia are their least favorites.
Teenagers like Fluttershy, by the way...

The Mary Sue interviewed Tara Strong about Pony, the fandom, an upcoming series she's part of and some more.
Especially the first part is interesting as she tells about Twilight's future in FiM.

Build a Bear Pony Plushies

Remember the pony plushies Build a Bear announced some time ago? According to an employee, they will be in stock on April 1. So far, it seems like there will only be Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash plushies available, but they will come with (seperately sold) special outfits. What those will look like isn't known so far, though.

Rumor: Other Song From Finale Leaked?

So a song has been released that people are claiming is the other song from the finale. The earliest occurrence I can find is from here: one of the Friendship Is Witchcraft folks posted it. I suppose they'd have a motive but this begs the question: how did they come across it in the first place?... Anyways, potential spoilers past those links, of course. Thanks to Marshall for letting us know!

Edit: The general consensus is they be trollin': probably not a FiM song.
