Megathread: Fluffy Pony?

I can relate right now...

It's a stressful time this week for those who have finals... At times like these, I wish I had a fluffy pony by my side as a way to say "Hey... You can do this, FPLOON! Just believe in the me that believes in you!"

Prepare yourselves folks, for today we will take part in an ancient (~1.5 year-old? I forget.) tradition from /b/!

The rules are simple, as follows:

1. Take the Bronyland Personality Test
2. Post results

Of course the folks on /b/ always did have a habit of going along with these two implied rules too, frequently bringing about hilarious results:

1. Retake if not satisfied, post those results
2. Try to make an absurd solution to the test, post results

Another silly thread for all to participate in! And potentially useful too! What is your favorite FiM-related fan-made content so far? What do you like about it? Who made it/when was it made/provide some general info and links. That's the gist of it then. And if someone else gets your favorite first, just go for your second or third favorite. Still just as good.

I think I'll start this one off again... I can't actually choose a favorite, but one of my favorites is this classic here by Skaijo on Deviantart. Made many moons ago, this video was one of the earliest fanimations (bad pun?) to grace the fandom, and it has since become a classic, and the origin of a surprising number of memes including the moon cannon and bananas. Not trollestia though, that was around before this vid.

Another of my favorites would have to be Carrot Cake Story Book. This brief comic was made very early on in the FiM community by Elosande on DeviantArt, who has the best interpretation of Derpy Hooves and Carrot Top IMO. From this old comic came the whimsical "Derpy emptied your fridge" meme.

Anyways those are just two awesome things out of many. Can't wait to see what people add in there!

In celebration of FPLOON's birthday, besides randomly making random and/or irrelevant haiku comments and/or replies on any post that happens today, FPLOON wanted commenters to roast him just like what happened to comedian Bob Saget, rapper Flavor Flav, and the Great and Powerful Trixie that one time...

So, in the comments, hope you're ready to roast this wizard with an endless supply of popcorn, because you've all been discorded (for some of you, this has happened to you before...) and roasting this pegasi-loving mod is the only way to be un-discorded!

And of course, as with any post like this, the object to your left is the thing with which you must battle Discord. How screwed are you?

MyLittleFaceWhen is best insta-header

Well last night's discussion post didn't go so well: It was interpreted as a little more of a "would you like more/less blog mods" thing like other recent posts, but what I was really trying to ask is "how would you plan a blog system for longevity?" or something along those lines. I'd hoped to get some ideas about how to build in negative feedback loops and proper incentives/workflows for various members, with longevity in mind. I wish I'd been around to steer that conversation back in the right direction... Oh well. Perhaps I should only do discussion posts when I have the time to moderate and direct the conversation. Somehow with scheduling errors it looks like I'll miss this one too... I don't even.

Pic of a classy town to go with the classy rhyming

1. Start telling a story in rhyme, haiku, or some other poetic form
2. All subsequent replies must continue the story, and should continue the poetic form (hard mode), but can change it up if it's too difficult.

Also suggestions for the next such post are welcome. They don't have to be in poetic forms of any kind, but if you like a challenge, certainly try. I was thinking we should do a Seterra competition -sort of a "play Seterra, post results" (time/accuracy) sort of thing. Twilight Sparkle would approve.

It was suggested that I only do miniature discussion posts every other day, So to fill in some of these off-schedule days I will be randomly adding... whatever this type of post is...

So here's the plan:

1. look through MyLittleFaceWhen, choose a picture at random, and post it. (use <img src=""> with the URL of the image between the quotation marks. you get the URL of an image by right-clicking on it and selecting "open image in new tab")
2. All subsequent responses to that post must be in the form of reaction faces, again from MLFW.
3. let's play a game *jigsaw voice*

In the next such post, all comments shall be written in iambic pentameter, or just rhyme if that's too hard.
