Celestia's lost student?

Well, look at this. After all, the "mysterious masked pony" we saw a while ago really seems to become a major character. This snippet is from a box of her toy. The full picture is below the break.

It says Sunset Shimmer was a student of Celestia years ago. And it kind of announces a "special celebration". That's the reason for the masked ponies we saw on the ToyFair pictures.

I'd consider this to be more than a rumor... So, have a discussion. What do you think will happen?

Rumor: Other Song From Finale Leaked?

So a song has been released that people are claiming is the other song from the finale. The earliest occurrence I can find is from here: one of the Friendship Is Witchcraft folks posted it. I suppose they'd have a motive but this begs the question: how did they come across it in the first place?... Anyways, potential spoilers past those links, of course. Thanks to Marshall for letting us know!

Edit: The general consensus is they be trollin': probably not a FiM song.

More Alicorn Twilight Popping Up

Alicorn Twilight, or as I like to call her: Twilicorn, has made an appearance in the Toy Fair's catalog! She comes in a new castle play set and seems to have been made in a completely new mold. The most obvious difference is the added wings, but her new model is slightly taller than the standard ones. She comes with a removable(?) big crown thingy and a dress. Does this confirm Twilicorn in the cartoon series? Only time will tell. Put your thoughts in the comments.

FiM Burger toys? Seems Legit.

Over on DHN they've put up a post about a rumor-ish thing on Derpibooru of some MLP:FiM Burger King Toys that might appear some time this spring. If true, you can expect to find Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie to appear in Burger Kings around March. Ok, for a few days now, there has been a huge rumor going around about leaked audio of Discord's lines.
 Before I go any further, I want to make it known I don't believe this, but I would sure love to. However, I feel the need to make a post about this because, 1) The lines that were said are extremely plausible . 2) If the
lines were true, it would make the best episode ever, period. 3) This wouldn't be the first time major info was leaked. 4) What's the worst that could happen if this wasn't true? The Outhousers and others reported about a rumor that Disney is planning on buying Hasbro... and that means they'll get the rights to MLP amongst other things.
