Sharknado

So Sharknado is clearly the greatest movie our generation is going to produce. Indeed, it spits in the face of puny things like science or logic. Therefore, it must be combined with ponies. How would you and your favorite pony deal with a Sharknado? Would you survive? How many sharks would you take down? These are serious questions.

Comic Megathread

One of the few good things to come from LPU - supposedly Andy Price drew these unique comic covers there.

Anyways, the first story arc of the FiM comic books has been wrapped up and more comics will be released later this month. From what you have seen of the comics so far, what do you think of them? Better than the show? Worse than the show? More artistic freedom? Too many references you didn't get? Let us know in the comments!

For those who haven't yet read the comics, there are snippets in lots of places, to give you a general idea if you wish. The first that come to mind are here and here.

Platonic-style Megathread: Feedback

*sighs* As we slowly bring you all a better pony site, we are always looking for feedback to how we can improve what we have in the meantime... To some, we are literally the first place you go to for the latest news and media-related stuff, with some of that stuff only being featured here at times due to our lack of a true standard filter (besides just no Rule 34/ Clop with slightly saucy and/or explicit/suggestive dialogue/theme sometimes acceptable). To others, you have been to other pony sites and found out that commenting and communicating with us mods was a more nicer and more interesting chance of pace... especially when all you want to do is RP in the comment section... *chuckles*

But, some of us mods have been contemplating if we are posting the right stuff at times... Sure, we have our own way of posting and even have posts just done by one of us mods (at times), but then why would we post something that no one would give a chance to check it out? Some of us are fine with posting stuff that we might not like personally (some more than others, I guess), especially the content that is sent to us via our e-mail or even in the comment section, but does that mean that we can't (at times) post what we like at times if no one would even look at the post, anyway?

Pony + Unreal Engine = Awesome

If you at least occasionally touch video games, you should know the Unreal Engine. Pretty impressive and powerful thing. The guy who made the video above combined it with a pony.
And it looks very good. It might be just a first tech demo with a pony walking around... For now.
Of course he plans on further developing it.
Look at its current state and imagine where it might lead to. What would you like to see being done with it?
